What KAST is testing
KAST describes this as a limited lifecycle test for users who have not yet added their KAST Card to Apple Pay or Google Pay. Participation is automatic only for selected users who receive the relevant offer and are placed in the incentive group.
The offer does not create a new standard cashback rate. It is a one-time campaign reward tied to mobile-wallet provisioning and subsequent qualifying card spend.
How the $5 reward works
An eligible incentive-group participant must add the active card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and reach $50 in genuine qualifying purchases within 14 days of receiving the offer communication.
Refunded, reversed, disputed, charged-back, declined, cancelled, fraudulent or self-dealing transactions do not count. KAST lists September as the reward-distribution period and may validate eligibility before crediting it.
Why availability is limited
KAST can split eligible users into incentive, message-only, delayed-incentive and holdout groups. Users who already provisioned a phone wallet, lack an active card or use an unsupported country, device or card configuration are excluded.
The campaign terms say rewards are limited and not guaranteed. If no matching offer appears in the app or direct campaign communication, the public page alone does not establish eligibility.
