Best crypto cards for travel in 2026
Travel value depends on predictable conversion costs and whether the card can be used when you need it. We compare FX charges alongside cash access, card format, phone wallets and country availability.
How we chose
What determines the order
Costs, everyday usability, eligibility and the payment infrastructure behind the card determine the order.
FX and conversion clarity
Published FX, conversion and card-spend charges matter more than a broad “zero fee” headline. If FX costs are missing, the card gets no free pass.
Practical card access
Physical card availability, ATM access, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the payment network determine how usable the product is away from home.
Eligibility before departure
Country availability, KYC rules and the issuer matter because a good fee table is useless if you cannot obtain or use the card.
FX and conversion costs lead the order, followed by cash access, physical-card availability and phone-wallet support. Missing information receives no credit.

FAQ
Questions about this ranking
Does a 0% provider FX fee mean every foreign purchase is free?
No. Card-scheme conversion, crypto conversion, merchant dynamic currency conversion and ATM-operator charges can still apply. The table labels provider inputs narrowly.
Do you require a physical card for the Travel ranking?
Not as a hard filter, but current physical-card and ATM access are meaningful advantages. Virtual-only products can still rank if their other travel inputs are strong.
Does selecting a country hide cards with unknown availability?
No. A card is hidden only when the provider explicitly excludes the country or publishes a complete country list that leaves it out. Unclear availability stays visible with a warning.
How often should I recheck travel terms?
Before each trip or application. FX tables, ATM allowances, supported wallets and regional eligibility can change independently.
