Best crypto cards for cashback in 2026
A large “up to” rate is not enough. The order favors rewards a user can actually access, then accounts for the cap, payout asset, qualification burden and costs that can consume the benefit.
How we chose
What determines the order
Purchase rewards carry extra weight, while costs and card usability still matter. Earn yield and referral bonuses do not count as cashback.
Accessible rate before the maximum
The base or entry-tier rate carries more weight than a maximum unlocked by a paid plan, status level or token balance.
Caps, categories and payout asset
We distinguish reward-value caps, eligible-spend thresholds and redemption limits, and we keep tokens, stablecoins and points separate.
Net value after the gate
Monthly plans, staking, lockups, FX and conversion costs can erase a nominal reward advantage, so they remain part of the ranking.
Accessible cashback, reward caps, conditions and the fees needed to earn or use rewards drive the order.

FAQ
Questions about this ranking
Why can a card with a lower maximum rate rank higher?
Its accessible rate, cap, payout asset and qualification burden may be stronger. A conditional ceiling receives less weight than a practical entry-tier reward.
Do referral bonuses count as cashback?
No. Referral and affiliate offers are separate from purchase rewards and do not affect the Cashback ranking.
How do unknown reward caps affect the order?
If a cap is unclear, we do not assume rewards are unlimited. The card page shows what the provider publishes and what remains unknown.
Are cashback rates guaranteed?
No. Rates, eligible purchases, caps and qualification rules can change. Each card page shows the latest terms we checked and the check date.
