Solid removes points-based tiers and adds a paid Prime route

Solid Rewards points still accrue, but they no longer unlock Prime or Ultra. Prime now costs $199 a year or requires a 12-month FUSE lock; Ultra requires a larger 12-month lock.

Current tier and fee terms

  • Points have no announced current redemption or tier-qualification use, although they continue to accrue after Rewards opt-in.
  • Prime costs $199 annually or requires a 12-month lock of 50,000 FUSE before October 8, 2026; new locks from that date require 70,000 FUSE.
  • Ultra requires a 12-month lock of 400,000 FUSE before October 8, 2026; new locks from that date require 600,000 FUSE.
  • On non-USD spending, a 1% card-provider FX fee applies in addition to Solid's 1% Core, 0.5% Prime or 0% Ultra markup.

Points no longer unlock tiers

Solid's revised Rewards terms say points still accrue on qualifying balances, card spending and swaps. They no longer determine tier, and Solid has not announced a current way to redeem or use them.

The terms now specify one point per dollar per day on the Card balance. Older guidance said per hour; the card profile follows the current terms.

Prime and Ultra access

Prime can be purchased for $199 per year or reached by locking FUSE for 12 months. Ultra has a FUSE-lock route, with no paid subscription listed. Locked FUSE cannot be withdrawn before its unlock date.

The required amount for a new Prime lock rises from 50,000 to 70,000 FUSE on October 8, 2026; Ultra rises from 400,000 to 600,000 FUSE. The app shows the applicable amount before a lock.

Two FX charges

Solid lists its own FX markup at 1% for Core, 0.5% for Prime and 0% for Ultra. Rain or Wirex also applies a 1% card-provider fee in the exchange rate on non-USD purchases at every tier.

The resulting documented FX cost is 2% for Core, 1.5% for Prime and 1% for Ultra. Other cards' network charges must be assessed from their own terms, not inferred from Solid's schedule.
