Tuyo documents ATM withdrawals and higher daily card limits
Tuyo's current guides describe Visa ATM withdrawals and daily card limits starting at up to $50,000, with spending-based increases to $200,000. Purchase fees can combine 1% FX and a 1% provider abroad fee.
The essentials
Update facts
- ATM maximum, including operator fees
- $250
- ATM allowance per rolling 24 hours
- 3 attempts
- Daily card limit after qualifying spend
- Up to $200,000
Conditions and source differences
- New cards start with a maximum daily limit of $50,000. It can rise to $100,000 after $50,000 cumulative purchases and $200,000 after $100,000.
- Both approved and declined ATM attempts count toward the three-attempt rolling limit. A compatible ATM, the current app and a card PIN are required.
- Older Tuyo website FAQ and agreement text differs from the current guides. Check your account's available features, limits and quote.
ATM rules
The $250 maximum includes the cash amount and any ATM surcharge. An attempt that exceeds the amount or fails for another reason still counts toward the three attempts allowed in any rolling 24 hours. Operator or bank fees can apply.
Purchase costs
The current guide lists a 1% FX fee on non-USD purchases and a separate 1% provider abroad fee on purchases made outside the US. Both can apply to the same purchase, for up to 2% combined.
The higher daily limits are conditional. They do not make $200,000 immediately available to every cardholder. Tuyo's older FAQ still lists $10,000 a day, so the current app limit matters.
