Early access

For KuCoin users in Europe, the draw is keeping crypto funding and everyday payments in one account. Watch for the EU service restart and the opening of card applications.

02

KuCoin's next European card chapter

KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH is the Vienna-based company behind the European service. It received its MiCAR authorisation in November 2025. In its June 2026 update, the company said it was preparing to resume services; the current preregistration page still carries a suspension notice.

October application instructions describe virtual and physical cards for eligible EEA residents, excluding Malta, with full identity checks. September spending guidance describes EUR payments funded with EUR or supported crypto, including USDC. Open card issuance remains unconfirmed.

What this could unlock

Our view of the possibilities, based on the project’s direction.

From an exchange balance to a purchase

The proposed EUR and crypto funding choices could let customers keep everyday spending beside their KuCoin EU account. Virtual and physical formats would give the card a role online and in shops if issuance opens as described.

Current access

  1. 1

    Explore the EU preregistration

Use the regional KuCoin EU page for account news. Its email list is separate from a card application.

  2. 2

Watch for card applications to open

Look for a dated restart update, a working application and the terms for the card being offered.

What comes nextCheck the EU account and card terms, issuing partner, fees and country requirements before applying. An exchange invitation alone does not establish card access.
