Europe eligibility guide

Best crypto cards in Europe for 2026

Europe is not one card market. A card appears only when its current country information shows availability in at least one EEA country, Switzerland or the UK.

How we chose

What determines the order

Availability comes first. Overall Score then compares the cards without using one country as a stand-in for all of Europe.

01

Available in at least one market

The provider must show the card as available, rolling out or limited in at least one country covered by this guide. Worldwide Visa or Mastercard acceptance is not enough.

02

No single-country proxy

Germany, the UK, Switzerland and smaller EEA markets can have different programmes. The ranking does not use one selected country as a substitute for the whole region.

03

Overall quality after eligibility

Once the country gate is passed, costs, rewards, everyday use, transfers, custody and provider infrastructure determine the order through Overall Score.

Availability decides which cards appear. Overall Score then orders them; covering more countries does not create a separate bonus.

FAQ

Questions about this ranking

Does inclusion mean the card is available across Europe?

No. It means the card is available or rolling out in at least one country covered by this guide. The table shows how broad that coverage appears to be.

Which countries count as Europe in this guide?

The scope is the EU27 plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. It is a comparison boundary, not a claim that every programme covers all 32 markets.

Does worldwide merchant acceptance prove signup eligibility?

No. Visa or Mastercard acceptance describes where an issued card may work, not where a resident can open the account or obtain that card.

Can a listed card still reject my application?

Yes. A positive or limited country record does not guarantee onboarding, KYC approval, issuer access, plan availability or physical delivery.
